In regards to the post that Steve S. wrote it occured to me that the article was about myself. One of my major stumbling blocks when I first started coming to the rooms was my age. I felt very out of place because of the amount of time I used compared to most people in the program. It finnaly occured to me after comming to meetings for a couple of months that we all have the same disease and thats what brought us all together. Today Im greatfull that I didnt have to go through all the years of pain that my fellow addicts had to suffer.
