Hello Family,
After sitting and lying around the house most all of the day - due to the extremely high pollen count and my body's reactions to it, I was fairly bored. I had such a severe headache that I didn't want to do anything that required any mental effort and surely didn't want to expend any physical energy. While in this all to familiar space, after trying to call a few people and catching no one home - my phone rings.
It is a member of NA who lives at least a three hour drive from me. After the usual pleasantries, he asks me if I can do him a favor. Immediately, I say "Sure, if I can." Then almost in the same instant comes the thought - "What can you do for someone that far away?" Before the insanity gets a grip, he says that someone called the phoneline where he is and is near where I live and is looking for a meeting - can I help? I take the information from my brother and make a call to a cousin that I hope to meet face to face at a meeting later this week.
I felt the need to post and share my wonderment - what are the odds...
