I have some very good news for you Rhonda! As of this very minute you NEVER have to get loaded again! Never! (a day at a time, 5 minutes at a time, what ever it takes. Today you have a choice. You've reached out and taken the first step now all there is left to do is to surrender. We are here and I'm sure there are meetings close to you. Get phone numbers and use them, not the dope. Whatever the obsession to use sets in, pick up the literature. If you don't have any literature, get on your computer and find NA Recovery sites. One place to check is http://www.bosewell.com. There are readings and links to many other sites on this page. Above all, do NOT try to do this alone. None of us could do it that way. You may also want to look into the possibility of some type of detox or treatment program, just to get you away from your present environment long enough to let your head clear. Many such places host NA Meetings and it is a good place to make contact with people in Narcotics Anonymous. Please post us again and let us know how you are doing.
