Thanks for the interesting article. I am from the beatnik generation, so this kind of thing appeals to me. The sexes are set up to be fertile, replenish the gene pool and care for the off spring. I often wonder that more people don't catch on to the ritual of foreplay, loving, bonding, defending a territory and caring for each other. It is a beautiful and awesome miracle each time it is allowed to come full cycle. So much of addictive disease keeps things from coming full cycle. I think that's what hung up means.
It is interesting too that the symbolism 'blue' is sky as well as water, two of the four elements of the ancients, and our own discovery of the fifth element. The balance of recovery set immportant and healthy caring against the interest and concern we have for others. I guess one way would lead to narcisism, the other to co-dependency. Too far either way, and we drop the ball.
