Hi my name is lenny and i am an addict. We had a home group in our area called "Out of the Darkness and into the Light" that was essentially a gay NA group. It folded. One criticism of it was that was exclusive, while NA as a whole is INclusive. We should focus on our similarities and not our differences. I am not suggesting that gays do not have problems peculiar to them. (Blacks have problems peculiar to them, so do women, etc.). I don't think that the issues faced by gay addicts supersede the issues faced by addicts in general.
