I've been reading through alot of the posts and replies. I was just wondering why some of the replies were so rude and harsh and uncalled for. We're supposed to be loving and caring and too help the addict so they need not suffer. Being cruel is not a tradition nor is it needed. I'm sure each and every one of us has had to face rude and cruel people in active adiction and even been that person. Why don't we try and do something different, if not for yourself, for the newcomer. Go call your sponsor!
