It's been over two years since I posted this. I've since moved to Berkeley where the fellowship has alot of people from Recovery Facilities and alot of andas. After working The Steps again, I had a Spiritual Awakening in regards to this situation. 1st: I am Powerless over people (what their gonna say and gonna do)!Once again, I have to Turn It Over! 2nd: People don't want what I have when I come from a place of Resentment. Steps 6 & 7 help me put my Defects in Check. 3rd: When someone ask my opinion, I share my Experience,Strength and Hope the NA Way! Today, when someone ask me why I say I'm just an Addict...I tell them out of Respect for the NA Program.
