I think that youth in recovery is an awesome thing. I am one of them. I went to my first NA meeting when I was 17 years old. I relapsed 1 day before my sixty days, but cam right back into the rooms. I knew I was young, and at the time didn't know very much about anonymity. I am now about to turn 20, and going on 2 years clean. The people in the rooms treat me the same; "equal." I am an addict in the rooms with the disease of addiction, seeking recovery. Today, I am okay to be a youth. I am a part of, and I am grateful for that. I truly believe that my higher power put me in these rooms for a reason, and I know that without NA I would die. For that I am eternally grateful.
