Thank you Bo. While I believe fully in one addict, one vote, one homegroup, one sponsor, one God, one fellowship, I can't help but be disturbed by the processes by which we allow ourselves be driven away from recovery issues. Even in the midst of our disease we often come down to I instead of we in order to defend our views on the political structure of any fellowship. I too am deeply saddened by the changes I've experienced since coming to this fellowship in the early '90's. I've also come to realize that a lot of my "political fighting" was all in order to place something, anything in front of my real issuess at the time. Some of them being pride or wanting to be more than I felt like I was. And in time sometimes seemed to work for me. In the long run after my 7th year clean I relapsed. Now this isn't at all to say I disagree with anything that's been sais in this forum. It's only to state a little of what I feel. And like you Bo, it cannot be taken from me. With Love, Michael
