Bo, I agree that we sometimes need strong words and reality in our dialogue, but we don't really need to call anyone names for the sake of making a point, do we?
Choosing to use words like 'idiot' only show a lack of communication skills and poor manners.
In the context given in the example, it is also quite judgemental.
Besides, it is insulting to idiots!
