I was asked to chair a meeting last night for the first time. My confidence level is not too awful high. I always seem to make mistakes, the first time I closed the meeting, the first time I did clean time, and it makes me really nervous. Well, when I said no, to chairing, the response was, well has NA ever said no to you? Then I felt guilty. Is this the way things ought to be done? I thought we should be doing things in a loving, caring manner, not making someone feel guily, I can do that all by myself. I don't need someone else, especially someone in my home group, to say these things to me. I don't know what to say or do. Do I just let it go or ???? Thanks for any imput. Thelady
