I remember when I was asked to chair my first meeting...my sponsor was nearby (thank God) and stepped in and told the other member that I was not ready yet.
I remember the attempt to make me feel as though something was terribly wrong.
When I felt ready, I still asked my sponsor and was given a lot of support.
I have been told a few times: when in doubt, don't. It has been a good rule for me to follow.
Just hang in there and don't do no dope...the rest will come together in God's time.
