Hi. I am Rick and I am an addict. I am reading over this material and wondering why. A brief history. I have been clean for over 11 yrs. I have seen a lot of endeavors come and go. I have seen a lot of energy get wasted. Our fellowship has a service structure in place for "new literature". It is a long dragged out process. It almost seems hardly worth the effort. But I am clean today as a result of those efforts. I admire your love for the fellowship and your energy. That is as far as I go. There is no doubt in my mind that changes are due in so many areas. We are working on some. Bit by bit, day by day. But we do it together. I have served at every level of service and God willing I am here for the duration. My experience strength and hope is that we will continue to grow as a fellowship together. If this new book is to live and it has some good stuff then it will happen through the structure. Area to Region, Region to World. World to the fellowship. Group conscience (addict conscience) and back Slow, long, drawn out. What we have a problem with and we see it all the time is sometimes the answer is NO. That's when I see a real program in action. Our common welfare comes first. Personal recovery depends on NA unity. We can only fail from within. Thanks for your time. Like I said, I see a lot of good work, I hope you channel it.
