I believe in the collective consiousness of the group. Some groups would not tolerate your beliefs and some would embrace them. Who is correct? Does it matter? Do we have a larger group that has a collective consiousness? Is it appropriate to follow a collective consiousness that a larger group has formed that we participated in? Do we have the choice to form our own fellowship? I find your premise for this work very disturbing but thought provoking? I hope my questions give you some thought provoking momements too. Email me anytime. Some about me: I have 14 years in the program which is not anything except I have seen much ( many people ) come and much ( many people ) go. I came into the fellowship through a want to be with a woman ( truth ) but I came into recovery because I was scared and didn't know what to do but ask for help from some one who was in recovery. I have stuck with NA even though my wife ( 3 years more time than me ) has become disenchanted with NA 5-6 years ago and has instead gone to AA. I feel my program comes from my heart and what others show me by thier power of example. Honesty Openmindedness and willingness are the watch words I must live by to continue to remain clean. I also need to ask my self three very simple questions that I apply to each and every situation: Is it truthful? Does it have integrity? Will it hurt someone? I hope my ESH on these pages have prompted discussion. I do not have any answers only my experience of what has happened in the past. I am sure I will learn much from reading everyone else's posts.
