I have been involved with this project since I first got involved with the Program of Narcotics Anonymous, a little over 3 years ago. I've sat through workshops and conferences and I want to commend you for sticking your neck out and saying what you honestly feel. The chapter you are referring to was the first chapter I studied in an open forum, at my first Way of Life Conference. At that time, many of the ideas expressed in the chapter touched something deep within me and as a result, I have been involved with the project ever since. For a time, I didn't feel that I knew enough about Recovery or the Steps to be able to state an opinion, however, today I have lived enough of the Program to share my own experiences. I would suggest that you copy and paste the chapter into wordpad, or some similar program so that you can go in at your convenience and make changes. Once you have the Chapter in good working order, post it back onto this site, for additional imput. I agree with the concept of not publishing ideas for which only one viewpoint has been considered. Therefore, it is our obligation, as Members, to review this material and to suggest whatever changes we feel is needed. This gives the other Members involved a view from our perspective. Thank you again for your interest in something I believe will change the lives of many suffering Addicts for years to come.
