A long time ago, I read about 'self-realization' from a guy named Maslov. It has been so long since I have
seen the name in print, it may be spelled differently. The idea though has been part of my recovery all along.
The 12 Steps lead us into a way of living that allows us to step into reality. That's exactly why dreams come true here.
What is ahead for us requires that we stiffen up our resolve to build our Fellowship into all it can be! Obviously, our
way of writing works for us. When our service branchs, staffed by people educated in universities and trained in the workplace a
funny thing happens. Our history and our way of writing is not yet covered! So, they literally don't know that we can do it!
Don't expect them to come around - now or ever. They have a vested interest in preserving their jobs. You are way ahead of them if you have no title
but membership. Because people who serve out of gratitude and devotion have an affinity for one another and we work together smoothly without
instruction beyond functional basics. Letting our own true spirit rise out of the flaws of our pasts not only feels good, it is the force that
has been powering the whole NA movement since the beginning. When members woke up to their potential in the seventies, great things began to happen. It it time
to begin anew with faith in our Higher Powers and one another we can forge into a new actuality. Please, read the material and consider making a commitment to speak well
of our efforts and do your part when the time comes. It will take some courage. The mean spirit of addiction will hate and accuse. It will try to twist things to
justify its efforts to control and manipulate. But if you have faith, you will see the Spirit in action and that will do wonders for your recovery.
