NAWOL opens door for others to write for NA
Without the infrastructure to coordinate and circulate writings and new material among the Fellowship, the door is left open for members to informally gather and produce works. If we have someone who knows a lot about NA members effectively carrying the message into hospitals or institutions or on any other relevant subject, they will hopefully come forward with their work and make it available to other members. The informal presentation and availability of such material will do nothing to hurt the NA Fellowship as we need information. It may also stimulate the service structure to produce similar material although it would be a shame for them to copycat or try to appropriate materials developed by others.
We have worked hard to get what we share in writing and respect should be given when members care and love enough to write about it. It may be that in time some of these writings will pass into general usuage by the Fellowship. Certainly with the Way of Life, we hope that this will happen. We don't seek "World Approval." We seek "Fellowship Approval." We hope the atmosphere of love and sharing will prevail and that our efforts will open the way for others.
