Sorry we missed the three day window - hope it went well. The main issue that you hear about on this is the member has to set themselves apart from their job to participate in a recovery meeting. Most counselors who are also members come to times when they find it difficult to feel free at meetings. The association with 'work' and 'clients' is so strong, it gets to them. Many times it might just be the result of overwork. Whatever the case, they do well to go to outside meetings for recovery where they are only known as members. Anonymity can really help here.
