This is NOT the AA Fellowship. Narcotics Anonymous is not and has never attempted to be a mirror image of ANY other fellowship. We borrowed the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions and ADAPTED them in a way that would work. Had any other fellowship before us suffeciently served this purpose, there would be no Narcotics Anonymous today. If what we have to offer is unattractive to you or if the bells, whistles and gimmics of another fellowship seem to serve the purpose of your recovery better, then feel free to commit to that fellowship.
