I responded on the Forum that you should read the preface. Really, there is lots of discussion about NA approved. It comes down to this. What you and most of the Fellowship think of as approved simply doesn't exist anymore. It has been legislated out of existence. Don't you know this?

We are the only free Fellowship effort I know of to do major literature according to group conscience procedures, all without help, advice, funding and support form the service structure that seems to be full of people who think their job is to 'run' NA. That's God's job.

If you read the introductory statements to the book and still have questions, feel free to get back to us with those questions. This is a voluntary effort and it is very diverting to answer basic questions as if respectfully when the asker has not taken the time to indicate their seriousness by checking out the material. In other words, you are interrupting me with apparent sincerity without realizing that your question is not serious but really sort of insulting. Now, I am trying not to be insulting in my turn but dig this: we have been working on this for over a decade. It is your job to read the material, input and suggest and if you feel like it, get involved! Our job it to advance the project and focus on the material. We try to oriente new people who will be working on the project. The rest of the Fellowship is free to 'sleep through the whole movie' if that's what God tells them to do.

Also, you may not know, we have been attacked for doing this work by people who hadn't a clue as to what they were doing or saying. It is tiresome and disheartening that the disease of addiction is allowed to parade its selfishness and inhumanity and claim to be supporting the NA Twelve Traditions. My suggestion it to educate yourself and find out what is really going on. Then you can help, if you like.

In Loving Service,

Bo S.

Hi I'm Jimbo and I'm an addict. Recently, after a peom was reade by a member, we had a discussion as to what N.A. approved literature was. I hope you can put this in the simplist terms. Also, is "NAWOL" N.A. approved? Jimbo p.s. I'm sorry this doesnt pertain to the download.
