You are so true in this statement. The WSO only carries what we the fellowship through our group conscience commands it to do. Now that does not mean that My Will is done by the WSO but rather the will of OUR HP.
I am ashamed that I have been a part of a project that has been ripped from those who had put their essence in words and tried to share with all.
There is a true purpose for the way things are done in our fellowship. That is so that we as addicts get a final piece that is truely a work of GOD and not of us.
What I see, and I doubt very much that this will ever make it any forum on any site anywhere, is a man who has issues with the way that his earlier writings were handled and is now taking his revenge at the cost of others who have poured thier personal thoughts and experiences onto paper.
There is a Ego at work here somewhere. I have in past year seen various copies of the Basic Text signed by the "author" for sale on E-bay. The signer of these pieces was in fact the person who has now taken this piece and put his name all over it.
Now I know that you had a lot of input into the BT and that you were a major player in that piece being written. BUT isn't that what true service is. Giving and letting go. It is not, or was not that your contributions were not up to standards. But rather we as a fellowship through a loving HP seen a diamond in the rough and polished it.
I have read your manuscripts of that early piece and they are truely magnificent words. and I read what we know as the BT today and the differences are minute at best. Wording that clarifies are the only changes I see.
Once again I ask. No we as a fellowship beg of you to do what is right. Give back to the fellowship what was done through the fellowship. Let it go through the painful process of letting OUR HP edit it so that it can truely be called a gift from god and not a gift from one of us or even from all of us. For we all know that the best of together can not do what God can do alone.
